"BEST FILM SCORES OF 2019" - LOW LIGHT MIXES
THE YEAR'S BEST FILM SCORES - "It may not be what you expect from Fritch, but it’s a compact powerhouse, accompanying images of dancers portraying the ravages of war. Fritch is easily the best film composer who hasn’t yet landed a major motion picture; it’s only a matter of time." - A CLOSER LISTEN
"Épure et solennité de rigueur, c'est un piano que l'on attendait pas qui a la part belle cette fois-ci, étoffé de cordes tendues et capiteuses (Conflicted - Exit 12 Version) ou de nappes ascensionnelles sur They Might Not Come Back mais le plus souvent dénudé, passant d'un romantisme sombre et dramaturgique (Fugue of Fallujah) à un spleen plus aérien et troublant évoquant Satie (Origins of a Soldier, Sometimes Silence ), Debussy (Stenocara Gracilipes, ou Moved by War) et les bandes-son de Max Richter (Avenue of Iraq at Night)." - INDIE ROCK MAG
"The pointless asphyxiation of something as precious as life is hammered home in this score, but it also shows that beauty can emerge out of wreckage and devastation." - (James Catchpole) FLUID RADIO
"Once more Fritch shows how well suited to soundtrack work he is. He is very inventive and is hard to pigeon hole into a sound or style. Instead he has a freedom to move through instrumentation and styles that offer him the luxury of creating outstanding works." - DRIFTING, ALMOST FALLING

Like many veterans, US Marine Roman Baca wasn’t the same when he returned home from war. He served in Fallujah, Iraq from 2005 to 2006. His experience ravaged him with depression, anxiety, and anger issues. This led Roman to start Exit12 — a New York based dance company that tells stories of war through dance and choreography.
This is the 5th film in the "For Every Dream" series Even/Odd Films developed with Square — a series that explores the contemporary version the America Dream across different communities and individuals who have faced adversity.
